Hammer It

It has been a truly incredible fall season here in the midwest. I loved wearing cute jackets, pumps, dresses and skirts. That's all about to change, because winter's coming (insert a crying/pulling out my hair emoji face right here). But before we get buried in snow, I was able to snap few pics of this cute outfit. 

I always had a thing for hammer pants, but never thought I could pull them off. The key to successfully wearing them for me are killer shoes, like these pumps. They look like Valentino's but they are actually by BCBG. They came out with an amazing replica of these famous shoes (I own them in black as well). They go with so many outfits and are priced just right for those of us on a budget. Herringbone pants are from Michael Kors. The tailored jacket (from Kenzie) has an interesting zipper going diagonally. I feel each of these pieces alone are making huge fashion statements. So don't be afraid to mix and match bold patterns with bright colors and intricate details, they complement each other. The bolder the better when dressing up hammer pants. Bag by Celine. 

Enjoy the last few days of semi- warm weather before we all hibernate for few months. I'll probably be blogging about knitting blankets and scarves....hahah, you wish! ;)
