Full Bloom
Photos by Elizabeth Grube
Hello Passionistas! Spring is in full bloom and I couldn't be happier for the warm weather to arrive. All the pretty flowers, lush green well manicured lawns and potent smells got me so excited. As I should be because be, because next week I am officially starting my marathon training. If you are new to my blog you may not know this, but this year I will be running my second Chicago Marathon on October 9th. I am running on behalf of Girls on the Run foundation and if you'd like to know more about my charity of choice or would like to donate, here's the link to my fundraiser page. Thanks in advance for your support.
This look is one of my favorites, it's perfect for girlfriends brunch get together, to go to church or with just a change to dark denim, you can wear this to the office. The lace jacket can be worn with so many other outfits, over dresses and with skirts. The one I'm wearing is by Kensie and I got it at Macys few months ago, but I've linked a similar one. The ruffle top is from Banana Republic, I got it on some major sale, few weeks ago. Light wash jeans are the Rockstar jeans from Old Navy, they are super comfortable as they are light and stretchy. I kept my shoes neutral (Steve Madden from DSW), there is so much happening with the lace and ruffles, and even though they are the same color, it would just take away the focus from these pieces if paired up with colored shoes. I suggest to stick with nudes and blush colors. I completed the look with Park Lane Jewerly's beautiful accessories, Ritz drop earrings and Crest bracelets in silver and hematite.
Thank you all for being with me on this journey called Style Your Passion, this blog is my baby and I am so honored to be able to share my passions with you, both running and fashion. Each day I wake up with a grateful heart, even if just one person reads my blog or gets inspired to do what they are meant to be doing is more than enough for me. It's been a roller coaster of a ride for me personally the past few weeks, but what makes me stronger through it all is knowing that God's plans are bigger than mine, and trusting him is the only way through. 'Take delight in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart' Psalm 37:4
With full blooming love,
Style Your Passion
