Rock ON Summer

Feeling festive? As you should! There are so many amazing things happening in Chicago during summer. I wanted to inspire you Passionistas, with an outfit ready to hit any festival in town or to just stroll around the city in, enjoying a nice summer day tasting all the great foods and coffee shops, wine shops, you name it, Chicago's got it!

I stumbled upon this startling vest at H&M and it inspired my outfit from there. Since the vest is pretty bold with boho designs in the back and little bit in the front, I tried to keep everything else pretty simple. Well, maybe not my hair. The humidity definitely helped with maintaining the fluffiness and volume for my very fine hair. The burgundy sleeveless top ($7.98, a steal) I found at American Eagle and thought it went really well with the vest. It brought out and popped the design even more. All I needed was some black distressed high waisted jeans to coumplete the look (I linked similar jeans since mine are from Gap of last year). The never going out of style kicks of my choice for almost every outfit (LOL) are: white Chuck Taylor by Converse. Add some bracelets, a cross body bag (mine is by Michael Kors) and you're good to go! You never want to look like you've tried too hard with your festival looks, keep it simple and understated.
